Hey guys,

My name is Mark. I just started my first aquarium. My interest started more around having an attractive alternative to furniture in an open spot in my house. As I began to research I got realy interested in all the aspects of this hobby. I have 2 electric yellow labs, 2 Kenyi, and 4 jewel cichlids. I posted my fish addition plan over the next few weeks under general discussion to get some feedback.

I actually was leaning toward new world cichlids because of their size. After hearing about the messiness I decided to go with africans and I'm really glad. I'm looking forward to alot of variety in the tank and very active fish which probably wouldn't be as prevelant in the new world cichlids.
