Hi guys and dolls,
Quick background on my current tank:
45 gallon "tall" tank, typical aquarium rock bedding (black),
"Penguin 330" filtration (use ammo-carb in the media baskets),
"Guardian" G-14/150 heater,
"Whisper 40" pump. The pump runs to a large stump-like structure that is designed to blow bubbles, purchased at Pet Smart, with two other large inverted "stump" structures also from Pet Smart (lots of hiding spots). With a sunk "Hussong's Tequila" bottle (ceramic), a favorite tequila of mine that looks really cool against the black rocks (it's a black jug-shaped bottle).
I currently have 3 Acei's (at least I think...bright blue with yellow fins) and 3 other Cichs that have the same yellow fins, but have an orangish color to their face and breast, with a pale blueish body, with vertical stripes (cant remember their name). One spotted pleco (who is extremely shy, but camoflauges well against all the black). And my newist addition...what appears to be a Acei fry that I found last week (apparently my fish were getting busy).
They are all about 18-20 months old. I bought them as fry and now they average about 3.5".
Currently they eat "Hikari Gold" mini pellets, but will soon be on a larger gauge food!
Cant wait to learn and share knowledge with you guys!
