Hi there,
I just wish to greet you all. My name is Alexander, I am a cichlid keeper from city of Novi Sad - Serbia- Europe.
Ive been tracking this forum for a while, many interesting topic I have seen but until now I didn't participate in any subject.
I am Malawi and Tanganyika cichlids keeper. Until several months ago I had close to 3.000 liters in several tanks.
As I had a plan to move from Serbia, I sold and give away almost all of my tanks and cichlids. From lake Tanganyika I use to have 12 different shell dwelling species and 16 other species. From lake Malawi I use to have approx 30 different species. I ahd a succees with breeding all shell dwelling species, almost all other Tanganyika species and almost all Malawi species.
I must say that I learned a lot about cichlids from articles from the net and from several friends of mine from Holland and from Serbia.
I was lucky to stumble upon some great cichlid keepers that were willing to share their experience with me.
For me, being ion some hobby is all about sharing experience in it with other hobbyist.
I have knowledge that I am willing to share with others and I am always willing to learn more. When I say that I have a knowledge I just want to say that my knowledge is based upon my experience and experience of my closest friends.
Glad to be here, glad to see that this forum is a good one and hope to participate as much as I can, hope to learn new things and hope that I can be of assistance to someone in need.
with respect
Alex
