I thought I'd be creative in making a cave that wasn't going to fall and squish the fish...and was separate from the rock pile!

First I tried rubbing silicone on a pvc pile then rolling it in dolomite sand...DID NOT WORK! The stuff kept falling off and I couldn't get it to look less 'BLACK'.

Then I did this. Simple clay pot...dollar store river stones...$1 for all these stones! Few stones at a time, I siliconed these bad boys on! I hope the fish like it...it sure looks cool! Keep in mind...the bottom part will be buried in sand and you won't see the clay part....even the back side of the clay has stones on it!

very creative "chick". nice imagination you have. good to be able to keep yourself busy doing different things with your tank.

Thanks...it is in the tank now and looks good...although the rest of the decor stinks... blush.gif
