Hi all new to this forum.
I have been out of aquaria for 4 years and just getting back into the africans.We moved to the country 5 years ago and found out quikly that we had a bad well . I did not have enough water in the summer to keep up with water changes. When we lived in the city I had a basement fish room with a few tanks and I loved it!Ive kept africans since I was a teenager off and on but have forgot alot of info so just retraining myself now. We installed a new well and our water is perfect for africans very hard! I just got a 65 gallon set up that I kept and put a few fish in it from big als. Not the best quality but a start. A couple of demansoni, a trio of yellew labs, a trio of red zebras and a trio of auratus.This tank is in the living room set up for the family to enjoy, my young boys(3&5 years old)love it!
I will be setting up a new fish room in the basement over the winter and get new stock.
Been checking out old posts on the forum getting some great ideas!
Is there anyone from Ontario Canada on this forum?
