About a month ago I picked up a pretty nice 29G tank (30x12x18) with wood cabinet stand. It came with a Marineland Dual-Temp 20-40 heater and the Eclipse light/filtration/hood. Not my filter of choice plus it had a crack in the first compartment. After reading up on HOB filters I decided to go with 2 AquaClear 30s So needless to say out came the Dremel tool.
Below are the results. Right now it's in cycle mode. When done I'm looking to add Multies to it, and something else....any suggestions?
My water tests so far. I used Tetra Safe Start to start my cycle, below are the dates and readings. On 4/10 I did a water change because the Zebra Danios looked stressed. Since then my ammonia and Nitrites are 0
I'm just being a little cautious about any false positives since the water change.
