Hello all, Im stationed here in WA serving in the USN. Ever since i lived in the Barracks this was my first fish. He has a randy name so i wont say it. Lets just say he destroyed one bumble bee and a yellow lab. He is about 3 and 1/2 yrs old. He now resides in his personnel 30 gal tank. He does nothing but digging and his shimmer dance all over the tank. He is rather an amusing fish to watch. If anyone is to blame a single fish for this hobby this guy is mine. He basically started it all.

Ditto!

I was an ET on the DD-class Destroyers, I think all pretty much decom'd now. The only west coast I saw was San Diego for a few months for school. Best of luck to you mate, and thanks for doing your service!

Thanks both for the welcome to the club. So biddy you were a eletronic tech? Right on mate. I basically havent hit my 5 yr mark yet till june. Went from Prowlers to now P3's. Jet engine mechanic, has its ups and downs. Importantly I still enjoy it.

yep, got that right. I still find myself reminiscing (sp?) over those days. Probably one of the most challenging, rewarding jobs i ever did... loved every minute of it-almost!
