I just noticed that Steph hit 3,000 posts in the last week or so and Pete just hit 2,000!

This may have been celebrated earlier and I missed it, but as someone who has benefitted greatly from all the great help on this site, I just wanted to say thanks to the two of you and congratulations on those milestones. You both have done a lot to help African cichlid lovers.

If you look around the site, you'll notice that all the advisors spend a disproportionate amount of their time helping others. That's what impresses me most about these big milestones. Steph and Pete didn't amass those totals asking 3 questions each about 500 different species. They did most of it either answering questions (often for scared or worried people) or sharing best practices with the rest of us.

I kept Malawi's the first time from 1976-1983, when our second son was born and we had to move. With the help of people here I learned more about fish keeping my first 7 weeks back in the hobby than I learned in those 7 years going to the LFS and studying Axelrod & Burgess.

Thanks again to you both, and to the whole advisors crew.
