Has anyone here ever kept these or seen them anywhere ? I just found a picture on-line of these and I must say they are a very nice fish !

I didnt have them, but my buddy who swapped you for that group of Tropheus a few years back (Don) used to have them. They were cool with his other fish but they were kind of hard on themselves.
Similar to the behavior of the Burtoni.

They are nice looking fish. not that I want them or anything but I found them to be an eye catcher cooool1

They are very cool looking...I love how "stocky" they are. Have never seen them for sale before, but I know of someone that was keeping them on CF and said that they were impossible to keep looking nice. He had said that he would never get into breeding them because they are way to tough on each other...and the funny fact was that he stated the females were behind most of the abuse! funne

i think almost all the vics are cool looking. i really like the haplochromis polli "yellow".

I don't find Vics to be any meaner than anything else. For most of the species as long as you have a good chunk of rockwork in there it isn't really a problem.
