Can you tell me the type of substrait you use and the type of rocks? Also what do you use as filtration material?

The answers might give us a clue to the source of you problem. Don't worry, we will get it fixed. thumbsup.gif

Yes,a little more detail please.
Are you rinsing those filter cartridges under the tap?
How long are the lights left on?
Is this tank close to a window,or recieve any sunlight?
Cloudy water at this stage,64 days, would suggest that the tank is being overfed or the filter is not digesting the ammonia/nitrite and the bacteria is blooming in the tank instead of the filter.
If it might be a light problem, this could be a pre-cursor for an algae bloom,,,,the algae is not "thick" enough to turn green.
A quick solution would be to turn the lights off for three days and no food.If the tank is clear or much cleared in three days, start cutting the daily amount of light down and reduce the amount of food going in.
These fish just beg to be fed!

Hope this helps.

I'm going to take a different approach than the boys, here!

What is your tank maintenance schedule? (How often are you doing water changes? How much water are you removing and replacing? Are you vacuuming the substrate? What type dechlorinator are you using?)

And, the dreaded question...

Do you have readings on your nitrite, ammonia, and nitrates?

Was it cycled before you added the fish?

Did you add all the fish at once?

And, you haven't lost any fish? They seem perfectly fine?

Sorry, women are nosier than men! icon_mrgreen.gif

I would increase the amount and frequency of my water changes, and holding off on food for a few days won't hurt anything, either.

How long does it take them to eat what you offer at each feeding? How many times a day do you feed? What are you feeding?

Has your filter media been rinsed since you set the tank up? (You want to do this in tank water, not tap water...)

Your filtration should be adequate, but it is possible that you are overfeeding. Keeping a check on the water parameters I asked about above will help determine this...I'm not big on this stuff once the tank is established and your maintenance schedule is worked out, but at 64 days and still cloudy water, something just isn't right.
