So sorry about your losses!
A lot of time the heat is not as much of the problem as the loss of oxygen in the water column, so they actually drown. :( You can use plain hydrogen peroxide in small amounts and diffuse it into the water to raise the O2 levels. Offhand, I forget the amount, but it is fairly small, and in cases such as yours, the risk to the fish, especially at the low recommended levels, is low and probably worth taking.
